We have proposed a mathematical model of the process in. which fuel oi
l drops are simulated by drops of slurry carbon. Combustion and pyroly
sis of vapors of the liquid component of a fuel were considered in a d
iffusive approximation. Diffusive and kinetic processes were taken int
o account upon simulation of the combustion of carbon particles. Compu
tational and experimental investigations have revealed a decisive effe
ct of the carbon blade formation processes on the completeness of fuel
oil burn-up upon its pyrolysis and upon radiation from the carbon bla
ck particles being formed. A method of fuel oil burning with a reduced
formation, of carbon black was proposed and realized.
