Jh. Oostenbrink et al., ORAL-CONTRACEPTIVES IN THE TREATMENT OF DARIER-WHITE-DISEASE - A CASE-REPORT AND REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE, Clinical and experimental dermatology, 21(6), 1996, pp. 442-444
In this review we illustrated the case of a woman who had perimenstrua
l exacerbations of Darier-White disease. The disease improved markedly
with the use of continuously administered oral contraceptives. This s
triking improvement without side-effects supports the use of oral cont
raceptives in women with Darier-White disease, although its role shoul
d be investigated further using controlled studies in more patients.
