A MUSEUM FOR CRIMINALS - THE ST.-PANKRAZ- POACHER-EXHIBIT

An exhibit on the subject of ''Poachers in the Alpine Regions - Rebels of thr Mountains'' will be shown in the village of St. Pankraz as par t of the decentralized Upper Austrian State Exhibition 1998. This repo rt describes the concept behind as well as the contents of this exhibi t. The attempts is made to emphasize the motives behind the transgress ion of poaching, to understand and explain without justifying these ac ts rather than to confine the poachers within their illegal behaviour.
