In the present paper two new species of harpacticoid copepods are desc
ribed from east Serbia, Bor region, Vodena cave. Both species were col
lected in small puddles at the end of the cave. They are real troglobi
onts. Parastenocaris serbica sp. n. (Parastenocarididae) belongs to th
e ''minuta''-group of the genus. It has no close relatives among the r
ecent species and, together with P. nolli Kiefer, 1938 (which is remov
ed from the ''proserpina''-group), it enlarges the scope of the ''minu
ta''-group. Bryocamptus (Rheocamptus) bents sp. n. (Canthocamptidae) b
elongs to the ''pygmaeus-typhlops''-group of its genus. It is remarkab
ly similar to B. (R.) typhlops (Mrazek, 1893), but there are clear dif
ferential characteristics. Also, it is similar to B. tauricus Borutzky
, 1930 and B. bispinosus Borutzky, 1940 from Crimea, as well as to B.
innominatus Borutzky, 1940 from the Caucasus.
