Abstract
The content of free beta-indolylacetic acid (IAA), zeatin (Z), zeatin riboside (ZR), isopentenyl adenosine (iP), isopentyl adenine (IPA), an d endogenous ethylene production in winter wheat ear in milk developme nt phase was investigated. The plants used for measurement were spraye d with water solutions of IAA, silver thiosulphate (STS), and the comb ination of them. All that treatments resulted in the increasing of eth ylene release from ears. According to data about the balance of plant hormones in ear, we suppose that influence of treatments to ethylene r elease could also be mediated by free IAA level changes. One of the ot her ways could be direct influence cytokinins to ethylene synthesis or their common effect with auxins.
