Abstract
Closed-form expressions are obtained for the condensate's film thickne ss and flow rate and for the convective heat transfer coefficient. The liquid film thickness is proportional (i) to x(1/4) in a thin porous domain as the permeability K-->infinity and (ii) to x(1/2) in a thick porous domain as K-->0. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
