Abstract
The optimum conditions have been selected for using a fiber monoblock polychromator to study aqueous solutions of phenol when its concentrat ion is high. Taking into account the molecular constants, it is shown that the small penetration depth of the exciting radiation into the te st solution makes frontal geometry necessary for recording the emissio n spectrum of the test solution.
