NEAR-FIELD ANTENNA MEASUREMENTS USING NONIDEAL MEASUREMENT LOCATIONS

We introduce a near-field to far-field transformation algorithm that r elaxes the usual restriction that data points be located on a plane re ctangular grid, Computational complexity is O(N log N) where N is the number of data points. This algorithm allows efficient processing of n ear-field data with known probe position errors. Also, the algorithm i s applicable to other measurement approaches such as plane-polar scann ing, where data are collected intentionally on a nonrectangular grid.
