Abstract
A case of osteoid osteoma in a young man is presented which evaded dia gnosis for 9 years, and was eventually localized to the palmar aspect of the third carpometacarpal joint using the technique of registration bone scan to provide accurate localization, The lesion was removed wi th complete relief of pain.
