Abstract
In this Note we describe a centrifuge apparatus for simultaneously mea suring resistivities and capillary pressures of a partially saturated rock. Simultaneous measurement overcomes errors due to sample handling and hysteresis. Our apparatus has a four-terminal electrode design th at uses the centrifugal force to maintain good contact with the rock. We report data for an Indiana limestone sample up to 10,000 rpm, corre sponding to a capillary pressure of 720 kPa. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
