Abstract
Exchange biasing has been observed in bilayers of amorphous ferromagne tic Co65Mo2B33 and antiferromagnetic CoO indicating new latitude in ma terials for exploring exchange-coupled structures. Angular dependence measurements show that the exchange held in such structures displays a simple cos theta dependence. Spin-valve structures based on a-Co65Mo2 B33 and Co0.5Ni0.5O have also been made, and the expected switching an d magnetoresistance characteristics have been illustrated.
