Abstract
Multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma (MCRCC) is an uncommon type o f cystic renal neoplasm with characteristic histologic findings and a good prognosis. Three cases are reported. One case involves enucleatio n of an MCRCC in a kidney donor with a IO-year follow-up and no recurr ence in the transplant recipient. Nephron sparing surgery should be co nsidered when the diagnosis of MCRCC is suspected preoperatively and c onfirmed intraoperatively. (C) 1998, Elsevier Science Inc. All rights reserved.
