Abstract
We have calculated electron capture cross sections from atomic hydroge n with the molecular approach to atomic collisions for impact velociti es between 0.05 and 1 a.u. The projectile ions are H+, He2+, Li3+, Be4 +, B5+, C6+, N7+, and O8+. For the four most strongly populated captur e channels, cross sections are tabulated for each value of the final q uantum numbers n, l, m, summed over m for the given n and l and over l and m for the given n.
