Abstract
Stimulated by very recent mass spectrometric observations, we discuss the characteristics of possibly long-lived states of N-2(-) and invest igate the most promising candidates. Two N-2(-) states are identified that exhibit lifetimes several orders of magnitude longer than the fam ous (2) Pi(g) resonance.
