Abstract
The authors report a ease of breast metastasis front a ''tall cell'' v ariant of papillary thyroid carcinoma in a 59-year-old woman. This met astasis was discovered two months after the diagnosis of an inextirpab le thyroid tumor. Tall cell variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma is a sub-type of papillary carcinoma with art agressive course and freque nt metastases (in patients over 50 years of age). No mammary metastasi s of this tumor type has been reported so far.
