Abstract
The relationship between athletic identity and career maturity of 114 male college strident athletes was investigated The effect of level of school competition on the relationship between athletic identity and career maturity was also investigated. The findings suggested that lev el of athletic identity ir unrelated to career maturity and unaffected by level of school competition. Explanations for these findings are d iscussed.
