Abstract
Trifolium jokerstii (Leguminosae, Papilionoideae), a new species from Butte County, California, is described and illustrated. It is morpholo gically similar to T. barbigerum and T. grayi, from which it differs i n stipule shape, flower color, seed size, and lack of pubescence.
