Abstract
The cytologic findings of a sex cord tumor with annular tubules (SCTAT ) that ruptured during laparoscopy are described. Features useful in d istinguishing SCTAT from other ovarian sex cord tumors include the pre sence of highly cellular tubular formations containing well-delimited glassy pink material and absence of single cells. To the best of our k nowledge, the cytology of SCTAT has not been previously reported. (C) 1998 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
