Abstract
Effects of sibling support on the relationship between family conflict and individual psychological adjustment was explored in a sample of u niversity students. Those from high-conflict homes with high sibling s upport reported more positive adjustment than did only-children and in dividuals with low Sibling support Sibling support,vas not associated with greater adjustment in low-conflict homes, thus reinforcing its po tential benefits as a buffer to stress.
