Abstract
We report a case of chylous ascites in a 52-year-old woman after an or thotopic heart transplantation. The patient was successfully managed w ith conservative treatment including dietetic measures and repeated pa racentesis. The potential aetiopathological factors involved and other implications for cardiac transplant patients are discussed.
