Abstract
This is a short note on the black hole remote-sensing problem, i.e. fi nding out ''surface'' temperature distributions of various types of sm all (micron-sized) black holes from the spectral measurements of their Hawking grey pulses. Chen's modified Mobius inverse transform is illu strated in this context.
