Abstract
Two-proton correlations were studied in close to 4 pi geometry using t he reaction C-12(e,e' pp). The beam energy was 705 MeV, the energy tra nsfer 225 MeV, and the three-momentum transfer 412 MeV/c. The electron s were observed in a large-acceptance magnetic spectrometer in coincid ence with protons observed in a BGO crystal ball. Missing energy and m omentum, relative momentum and angular distributions were derived and compared with a factorized two-nucleon emission model. Soft-core corre lation functions are favoured by the data. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B .V.
