Rb. Villa et al., SPONTANEOUS ECHOCARDIOGRAPHIC CONTRAST IN THE LEFT-VENTRICLE - 2 CASE-REPORTS, Revista espanola de cardiologia, 51(4), 1998, pp. 340-342
Two cases of spontaneous echocardiographic contrast in the left ventri
cle, using transthoracic echocardiography, are presented. One is due t
o a low-flow state in a patient with a dilated miocardiopathy. In the
other me observed the echogenicity of a turbulent intracardiac blood f
low across a mitral prothesis. We considered the differents theories t
hat tried to explain the multiple origin of this ''smoke''.
