Abstract
Energy levels and optical oscillator strengths for transitions in Fe X V are calculated using the 14 configurations 3s(2), 3s3p, 3p(2), 3s3d, 3p3d, 3d(2), 3s4s, 3s4p, 3s4d, 3s4f, 3p4s, 3p4p, 3p4d and 3p4f in Hib bert's CIV3 program. Agreement between the present calculated relative energy levels and measurement as well as the most recent calculation is generally good. Our results also confirm the relative position of t he 3p(2)(S-1(0)) level which previously had been located only tentativ ely, but raise some concerns regarding the choice between the recent 6 - and 13-configuration calculations.
