Abstract
This paper is based on the session ''Measuring Lifetime Drinking Histo ries'' that was held on Tuesday May 13, 1997 at the international Work shop on Consumption Measures and Models for Use in Policy Development and Evaluation. The session chair was Paul Lemmens; presenters were Ma rcia Russell, Ronald Knibbe, and Paul Lemmens; and panel discussants w ere Robin Room, John Searles, Linda Sobell, and Richard Wilsnack.
