Abstract
Data on synthetic methods, structure and reactivity of organic derivat ives of monocoordinated tellurium, namely, compounds containing C=Te b ond and phosphine tellurides R3P=Te are systematized and generalized. The application of latter compounds as synthetic equivalents of elemen tal tellurium for preparation of metal tellurides is reviewed.
