Abstract
Magnetization and dilute Fe-57 Mossbauer studies of YbMn2Si2-xGex at t emperatures 4.2-650 K display multiple magnetic phase transitions. For YbMn2Ge2, T-N = 495(5)K while at 430, 350 and 190 K, drastic changes in canted spin structure antiferromagnetism occur. (C) 1998 Elsevier S cience B.V. All rights reserved.
