An isothermal section at 1400 degrees C is considered for the partial
system Ru-ScRu-ScRh-Rh. As no ternary compound is formed in this syste
m, one finds that the equilibria in the solid state at this temperatur
e involve phases based an the binary compounds ScRu2 and ScRh3 and the
delta phase (a continuous senses of solid solutions between isostruct
ural phaser of CsCl type bared on ScRu and ScRu) and solid solutions b
ased on ruthenium and rhodium, which form five single-phase regions in
the isothermal section, seven two-phase ones, and three three-phase o
nes: (Ru) + (ScRu2) + delta, (Ru) + delta + (ScRh3), and (Ru) + (Rh) (ScRh3).
