Abstract
New aromatic difluoroaromatic compounds containing acetylenic groups w ere obtained. Reactions of these monomers with various bisphenols unde r the conditions of nucleophilic substitution yielded aromatic polyeth ers. The glass transition temperature of the resulting polymers lies i n the range of 145-280 degrees C, and the temperature of 10% weight lo ss measured upon heating in air lies in the range of 410-530 degrees C . These polymers produce cross-linked structures at elevated temperatu res.
