The kinetic regularities of copolymerization of ethylene with carbon m
onoxide initiated by palladium acetate-based catalytic systems were st
udied. It was found that the kinetics and rate of copolymerizatlon wer
e affected by the nature of diphosphine [Ph2P(CH2)(n)PPh2 (n = 1-6)],
the acid (CF3COOH, p-CH3C6H4SO3H, and HOOC-COOH), the oxidizing agent
(benzoquinone) and the molar ratio between these reagents and Pd(CH3CO
O)(2).
