Side-chain liquid crystalline ABA triblock copolymers with a backbone
of polystyrene-block-1,2-polybutadiene-block polystyrene and 5-[(4'-cy
ano-4-biphenylyl)oxy]pentanoic acid as side chains were synthesized. T
he block copolymers possess narrow molecular weight distributions. The
