Abstract
The collision-energy/electron-energy-resolve two-dimensional Penning i onization electron spectrum for N-2/He(2(3)S) was observed in the col lision-energy range 70-380 meV. A large peak shift to higher electron energies and band width broadening were observed for the A state with increase of collision energy in comparison to those for the X and B st ates. Branching ratios for the three ionic states of N-2(+) as a conti nuous function of collision energy were investigated. The order of the branching ratios changes from B > X > A to A > B > X in the 100-200 m eV collision energy region. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
