Abstract
Fe-based systems with different types of chemical bonding and differen t magnetic properties were studied by the XPS method in order to obtai n the information on their magnetic properties and the electronic stru cture of the systems. It was shown that the shape of the core level XP S spectra is determined by the multiples splitting and by the shake-up effects. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
