Abstract
String Fusion Model results on Pb-Pb central collisions at SPS energie s are compared to experimental data. Three of the main features of dat a, namely: a lower than expected multiplicity, the strangeness enhance ment and the antiproton production outside the initial nucleon-nucleon kinematical Limits can be explained as a consequence of the fusion of strings.
