MONTE-CARLO CODES USE IN NEUTRONTHERAPY

Monte Carlo calculation codes allow to study accurately all the parame ters relevant to radiation effects, like the dose deposition or the ty pe of microscopic interactions, through one by one particle transport simulation. These features are very useful for neutron irradiations, f rom device development up to dosimetry. This paper illustrates some ap plications of these codes in Neutron Capture Therapy and Neutron Captu re Enhancement of fast neutrons irradiations.
