Abstract
We have examined the effect of mild hyperthermia (42 degrees C for 1 h our) on the radiosensitivity of Colo205 and Colo320DM, two human colon tumor cell lines which express respectively wild-type and mutated p53 protein. In both cell lines, the benefits of the association hyperthe rmia-irradiation result from an additive effect of both treatments and not from an hyperthermic sensitization of radiation.
