Abstract
Intramolecular cocyclisation of -(but-2-enyl)-N-methyl-N-(2-methylbut- 3-ynyl)amine using zirconocene(ethylene), followed by carbonylation af fords a 4 : 1 mixture of (+/-)-tecomanine and (+/-)-4-epi-tecomanine.
