Abstract
This paper deals with the low frequency scattering problem by a conduc ting object in a chiral medium. Using boundary integral equation metho ds, we obtain the limit of the scattered field solution of the Drude-B orn-Fedorov equations as frequency tends to zero. Making use of a Hodg e decomposition of the tangent fields shows that the asymptotics stron gly depend on the topological properties of the domains under consider ation. The asymptotic expansion's dependence on the chirality paramete r is shown completely.
