Abstract
Magnetic measurements on high-quality single crystal and Nd-, La-, and Lu-doped polycrystalline samples of superconducting compound CeRu2 ar e reported. Results with Nd doping clearly indicate that large electro nic mean free path is not a necessary condition for the occurrence of anomalous superconducting phenomena near H-c2 in this compound. The en hanced paramagnetic susceptibility, on the other hand, certainly plays a key role.
