We investigate the energy dynamics of compounded states, which arise i
n a system of waves linearly coupled via a random interaction. Randomn
ess of the interaction causes energy flow from the coherent wave to sc
attered states of the second participating wave. If disorder-induced c
rossing resonance occurs, we discovered that there is also a current f
rom scattered waves to the coherent component. The interference of the
se flows causes the distinctive temporal oscillation of the energy of
scattered waves.
