Abstract
New hydroxymethyl derivatives (4-6, 9, 15, 16) of the antitumor indole -indoline alkaloids vinblastine and leurosine have been prepared. In a ddition to the expected 16, the new bisvindoline 17 has been obtained as the main product, as a result of the oxidation reaction.
