Tetraphenylporphyrin derivatives were conjugated with amino acids (gly
cine, alanine, valine, leucine, and phenylalanine). The resulting comp
ounds were transformed into diporphyrin structures whose macrocycles w
ere connected via amino acid (-Phe-) or dipeptide (-Gly-Val-) bridges.
Physicochemical characteristics of the substances synthesized were st
udied.
