Js. Rapkin et Lp. Steahly, PSEUDO TIME-LAPSE FLUORESCEIN ANGIOGRAPHY - A NEW METHOD FOR DYNAMIC FUNDUS IMAGING, Annals of ophthalmology. Glaucoma, 30(2), 1998, pp. 77-80
Using a digital fundus imaging system, serial fluorescein angiograms w
ere obtained. Single-frame images from each study were combined using
a commercially available ''morphing'' software package to create motio
n picture images that simulate time-lapse photography. This is a novel
method for evaluating serial angiographic studies that enhances visua
lization of subtle changes between studies. Use of this method may off
er new insights into such conditions as macular degeneration and diabe
tic retinopathy.
