ASSESSMENT OF THE EFFECTS OF COMBINATION THERAPY WITH CIPROFLOXACIN AND FENBUFEN ON THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEMS OF HEALTHY-VOLUNTEERS BY QUANTITATIVE ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHY
F. Kamali et al., ASSESSMENT OF THE EFFECTS OF COMBINATION THERAPY WITH CIPROFLOXACIN AND FENBUFEN ON THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEMS OF HEALTHY-VOLUNTEERS BY QUANTITATIVE ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHY, Antimicrobial agents and chemotherapy, 42(5), 1998, pp. 1256-1258
The potential effects of concurrent administration of fenbufen and cip
rofloxacin on central nervous system activity in healthy young subject
s were investigated by electroencephalography (EEG), Visual analog sca
les (VAS) were used to assess subjective measures of concentration, vi
gilance, tension, and irritability. When ciprofloxacin was administere
d in combination with fenbufen, none of the EEG parameters or VAS rati
ngs measured were significantly different from those measured when the
drugs were administered alone.
