Abstract
The foraging activity of the Indian short-nosed fruit bat, Cynopterus sphinx was studied using radiotelemetry. The foraging activity gets mo dulated with different phases of the moon. During bright moonlit night s these frugivorous bats exhibit less activity as against that during new moon nights.
