CT, (lambda(max) = 556 nm, in CH3CN) absorptions in close proximity. T
he MLCT band undergoes a moderate solvent-dependent shift (negative so
lvatochromism) indicating a partial charge separation in the excited s
tate. The complex is not photoluminescent.
