Abstract
We add to the constructivist approach of Quartz & Sejnowski (Q&S) by o utlining a specific classification of sources of constraint on the eme rgence of representations from Elman et al. (1996). We suggest that it is important to consider behavioral constructivism in addition to neu ral constructivism.
