Abstract
The plant growth hormones are ubiquitous compounds that act at low con centrations to regulate various aspects of cell growth. Genetic strate gies have led to the identification of diverse proteins involved in ho rmone signaling or response. Included in this group are proteins that directly regulate transcription, enzymes involved in protein modificat ion, receptor kinases, and the first plant adenylyl cyclase.
