Abstract
Two new genera Monitus gen.nov. and Cuckoldillo gen.nov., a new specie s of each of Scyphax, Rhyscotus, Filippinodillo, Merulana, Myrmecodill o, and three new species of Acanthodillo are described from Australia. The unavailability of the name Pseudodiploexochus and the confusion c oncerning the diagnoses of the genera Merulana Budde-Lund and Cubaris Brandt is noted. The synonomy of Merulana and Pyrgoniscus is discussed .
