Abstract
Characteristic features of the spin excitations in high-T-c, cuprates revealed by neutron scattering and nuclear magnetic resonance experime nts are summarised, and analysed on the basis of the slave-boson mean- field theory for the extended t-J model, placing special emphasis on t he spin-gap phenomenon.
